Get in Touch

This is a private reference site, not a Union County or Pennsylvania government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking or release record. Contact the government office that holds the record.

Official Contact Routes

Use the office tied to the kind of custody or document at issue. Union County Jail handles present-custody questions and can help distinguish a departure from a transfer. The formal County Open Records route is the better destination for an existing historical release entry or booking image.

Other questions should go to the following verified source:

  • For a released person or release record, the home page explains the full lookup and request path.
  • For county probation, call Union County Adult Probation at 570-524-8741. For state parole, use the PADOC locator and current parole-office directory described under Parole / Probation.
  • For a same-day check, use Released Last 24 Hours. Union County publishes no official rolling feed, so that page explains the named-person fallback.
  • For date research or an alert, see Inmate Release Date and the VINELink Release Check.
  • For court orders, contact the Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts at 570-524-8751. The office is on the first floor at 103 South Second Street and is open 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • For a Pennsylvania state prisoner or parolee, use the PADOC locator. Locator help is available at ra-contactdoc@pa.gov; DOC Right-to-Know requests go to 1920 Technology Parkway, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050, or RA-docrighttoknow@pa.gov.
  • For a federal Allenwood record, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. Use the ICE locator only when a specific record points to immigration custody. PA SAVIN help is available at 866-972-7284 or TTY 866-847-1298.
